The Eternal Quest....

The birth initiates the quest but demise is not exactly the ultimate end of race, you too will never know how your soul is craving for rest.

When I was born, I cried for something, and even I don't know what exactly that something was.. but finally I felt contended having something. The reason behind

every child's tears may be different but all are in search of "something". What exactly this "something" is..??While finding the complex answer of this "something",

I reached to a conclusion having everything, that provides us the reason to live, initiating a quest that never ends.
The quest may be for smiles while cracking your deadly PJs, or the search for answers in your partner's answer sheet, and even while entering a fully loaded bus
and still searching for a vacant seat. You never know that you are searching something but always you are doing the same. Even I was not much interested to know
what I was searching because I don't have time to think over this as with the end of one quest initiates the other.
I put the question before my friends that what are they searching in their life and surprisingly all had the same quest,i.e. to pursue happiness. And this made me feel
glad that the choice of friends in my quest for friends was ideal. But still beyond happiness the quest has many shades and the quest changes its path. When I asked
how are you continuing your quest, the varied answers were describing that why everyone is not alike. If for one happiness is to get whatever he wants, for the

other its something that he feels seeing his parents' smile. Hence the one and only quest in one's life, I discovered, is to pursue happiness and the way they continue

the quest gives me the complex answers for the simplest "something" called happiness.
I decided to take a walk in some public places, from joggers' park to railway station, just to read faces of people of my society. I concluded that every face is on
the same quest that somewhere inherited features of my quest. I don't know that whether I was right or wrong because I was trying to read in a manner I wished to
read. They reflected only that part of their personality that I can absorb and interpret, but I don't think there will be any person who is not continuing his or
her quest. The definition of this happiness will be different but the ultimate point is what we call satisfaction.
A child gazing continuously at the ice-cream parlor for his favorite flavor or an old man searching his name in the reservation chart, may be almost two different

spheres of search but what will they receive in their quest is what I call as happiness. May be a temporary one but still it brought smiles in both the two
generations. I know this happiness can't be the eternal quest that we are discussing, but as drops continue to form an ocean these short-term happiness will surely
one day give you ultimate or the eternal happiness..
As per every expedition you require some materials, this quest is accompanied by nothing except a pure soul. Neither money nor materials can give you eternal
happiness until you really want this. Have you ever visited an old age home, surely not because you are busy in your own quest . But once you go and spend time with

them and on your next visit to another old age home offer them money you will feel what's the difference between money and care, material and relations.
The quest for eternal happiness does not mean satisfaction from your life (I know no one is satisfied with his life) but the fulfillment of one's desire without
compromising other's desire, and knowing that your desire must be in your deserving limit. Every businessman desires profit, every politician desires
votes, every film star desires awards, every parent desires a bright future fort their children and every child desires for good results but do they really deserve
it..??the question can only be answered by you as no one else can know you better than you. If you want you can judge yourself and never be wrong but this can

only happen if you want.
Still images even speak a lot as your stillness often plans the various ways to reach the destination towards happiness but before that you must know what is

happiness for you. Even prostitutes are searching for true love, as your destinations are governed by your destiny, so is with your desire. They desired their livings

and for that they spent sleepless nights with pain. This relation of pain and pleasure only gives them painful nights and they desire pleasure as happiness. Those men

who are searching love in their life, ends up their search with these prostitutes. For them happiness is conceived in these love makings,if not happiness but still

provide a way towards happiness.
The example that I placed may be at a great distance from your life, still the simplest "something" needs to be explained with everything or anything that has life in

it, and who knows where your happiness lies..??
